We’re training new farmers! On Thursday afternoons kids & parents are invited to spend an hour with the Farmers at Fat Moon and learn to plant, care for, and harvest farm fresh veggies. Each week we’ll start with an observation tour of the farm to take note of what has changed. Then we’ll spend the time doing two or three farm tasks with the Farmer. Each week you’ll take home fruits (or vegetables!) of your labor.

If you have any mushrooms in your yard bring them along - perhaps George can help us ID them.
If you are interested in mushrooms, then join this expert and
long-time gatherer George Davis. We'll start indoors and cover the
basics of mushroom hunting and then head out to the woods to look
for speciments. George is currently Head of Boston Mycological Club
(BMC) ID Committee, Former President of BMC, has studied and
identified wild mushrooms and lichens for over forty years and he
is a Retired
Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemist.
Take an hour away from the fast-moving river of life. Bring your yoga mat. We will stretch and bless the sun, walk the labyrinth and sit quietly in a circle. A time for centering and soul-tending. Just right for closing the busy week and opening to receive the gracious gifts of the weekend.
